Day 2, In Kathmandu
Breakfast at hotel. Morning sightseeing of Pashupatinath & Boudhnath.
Pashupatinath, situated on the banks of river Baghmati - here Shiva is worshipped in the form of lingam. (Only Hindus are allowed inside). In the month of February an annual pilgrimage on the occasion of Shivaratri is organized here every year. Boudhnath is an important Buddhist pilgrimage centre. Visit the temple of Boudhnath, the colossal Stupa, one of the largest in the world. This Stupa has the all-seeing eyes of the Buddha Journey built by king Manna Diva in expiation of his sins, inset with prayer wheels.
Afternoon sightseeing of Patan & Swayambhunath.
In Patan visit the old Newar City, the historic Durbar Square, the Golden Gate, the sky piercing temple of Teleju and the statue of Yogendra Malla, other temples, old carved windows and balconies of wood, curio shops and bazaar.
Swayambunath, a 2500-year old site where, it is believed, the Radiant Lotus of the valley-mythology, settled when the water was drained by Manjushri, the god of Wisdom. The 5 Dhyani Buddha Journey attended by their consorts are enshrined at the base of the stupa.
(Non Hindus are not allowed inside Swayambhunath temple)

Day 3, Kathmandu – Lumbini
After breakfast drive to Lumbini ( Apprx 300 Kms / 07 Hrs).On arrival transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel. |

Day 4, Lumbini - Kushinagar (Mahaparinirvana Train tour )
After breakfast sightseeing of Lumbini visit Maya Devi temple,Ashoka Pillar, PushKarani & Buddhist Monastery. After lunch drive to Kushinagar ( Apprx 190 Kms / 05 Hrs drive). Transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel. |

Day 5, Kushinagar - Gonda (Mahaparinirvana Train tour )
After breakfast visit to Mahaparinirvana Temple & Ramabhar Stupa. Afternoon drive to Gorakhpur and depart for Gonda in the evening. Dinner on board. |

Day 6, Gonda – Sravasti -Agra (Mahaparinirvana Train tour )
03:30 hrs – Arrival at Gonda.
05:00 hrs – On board early morning tea.
05:30 hrs - Departure by coach to Sravasti (65kms).
07:30 hrs - Arrival at the hotel and check-in. 09:30 hrs - After breakfast, proceed to visit Jetvana Vihara, Pakki Kuti & Sehat Mahet.
13:00 hrs – Lunch at Hotel.
14:30 hrs – Checkout of the Hotel to return to Gonda Railway Station.
16:30 hrs - Arrival at Gonda Railway Station.
17:30 hrs – Departure by train to Agra (450 kms). On board Dinner and overnight stay on-board. |

Day 7, Agra – Delhi (Mahaparinirvana Train tour )
05:00 hrs - Early morning tea and arrival at Agra.
06:30 hrs – Transfer to Hotel, Check-in for wash and change.
08:00 hrs – Breakfast at Hotel.
09:00 hrs – Check out & proceed for the sight-seeing of the World famous Taj Mahal.
12:30 hrs – Proceed to the Railway Station.
14:15 hrs - Departure by train for New Delhi (220 kms). Onboard lunch.
16:00 hrs - Evening Tea.
17:30 hrs - Arrival at the Delhi Safdarjung Railway Station. Transfer to hotel |

Day 8, In Delhi
Breakfast at hotel. Morning visit Old Delhi with visit to the Rajghat ( Cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi ), drive past Red Fort It is a reminder of India's glorious past. The fort is Shah Jehan's symbol of power and elegance, Built behind red sandstone walls. Its main gate (Lahore Gate) faces Chandni Chowk, the perpetually congested avenue-heading west from the Red Fort, is filled with twisting lanes, small streets and Crowded Bazaars .Also visit Jama Masjid -It is an imposing mosque built by Shah Jahan in 1656 in Mughal style of architecture. This splendid structure boasts of being the largest and most exquisite mosque in India. Built in yellow sandstone, this grand tower is five storied each one possessing a distinct balcony and Buddha Journey.
Afternoon visit New Delhi which includes visit to Qutub Minar- It was the first monument of muslim rule in India. It is a marvel in itself and depicts the history of Indian culture. It is made in Indo-Islamic style. India Gate – Built as a memorial to commemorate the 70,000 India soldiers killed in World War I, India Gate was designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens and completed in 1931. The gate is 160 feet high with an arch of 138 feet. and drive past President and Parliament House . Also visit to the Birla Temple - Also known as Laxmi Narayan temple, this temple is dedicated to goddess Laxmi and Narayana. It was built by BD Birla in 20th century and was inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi. The entire temple is adorned with paintings depicting scenes from Indian mythology.

Day 9, Delhi – Varanasi
Breakfast at hotel & transfer to domestic airport to connect flight for Varanasi.
Afternoon visit to Sarnath (10 kms) for to see Dhamekh Stupa, Sarnath Museum, The Ashokan Pillar, Mulgandha Kuti Vihar. Drive back to Varanasi. Overnight stay at hotel. |

Day 10, In Varanasi
Morning boat ride at river Ganges. Drive back to hotel for breakfast. After noon city tour of Varanasi visiting Bharat Mata temple, Tulsi Manas, Banaras Hindu University etc

Day 11, Varanasi – Bodhgaya
After breakfast proceed to Bodhgaya by road ( Apprx 247 / 06 Hrs). On arrival transfer to hotel.

Day 12, In Bodhgaya
After breakfast sightseeing of Bodhgaya including Mahabodhi Temple & Niranjana River. Return to the Hotel and relax for some time.

Day 13, Bodhgaya – Nalanda - Rajgir – Bodhgaya
After breakfast proceed an excursion to Nalanda & Rajgir.
Nalanda-was the most renowned university in ancient India. Established in the 5th centuary B.C. It remained a live center of learning till the 12th centuary A.D.
Rajgir was once the ancient capital of the powerful kingdom of Maghada. From the out skirts of Rajgir, a historic road leads to Gridha - Kuta or vultures peak where the Buddha Journey preached, here the first Buddhist Council was held after the Lord's Mahaparinirvana.
Drive back to Bodhgaya. Overnight stay at hotel. |

Day 14, Bodhgaya – Gaya – Calcutta
Breakfast at the hotel. Check out at 12 Noon. Later visit to Thai Temple, Japanese Temple and Buddha Journey Statue. Transfer to Gaya Railway station to connect train to Calcutta ( By JU HWH SUPER FAST 2308 : Departure 2020 Hrs). | |
