Buddhist Special Tour is a journey of enlightening discovery taking tourists close to the heritage knit sites closely associated with Lord Buddha and his pursuit from enlightenment and preaching. The week of enlightenment begins in Bodhgaya, the site where the lord found answers to all his problems and attained awakening. The second major site enroute is Kushinagar, where he attained transcendental existence by leaving the mortal remains. Day 01 : Arrive Gaya (L/D)
Arrive Gaya, the gateway to Bodhgaya, the spiritual center of Buddhist pilgrimage. It was here that Gautama attained enlightenment and became Buddha under the "Bodhi tree". After some relaxed time, visit Mahabodhi Temple built by Ashoka the Great in 3rd Century BC. One can also pay respects to the Sacred Mahabodhi Tree. Also visit Sujata House a temple dedicated to an Uruvela tribeswoman who offered food to the starving Siddhartha. Overnight in Bodhgaya.

Day 02 : Bodhgaya-Rajgir-Bodhgaya (B/L/D)
Begin full day excursion to Rajgir capital of 6th century Magadha Empire. Buddha spent many years here. Visit Gridhakuta, Sapataparni Caves, Ajatsatru Fort and Venuvana Vihara during a tour to Rajgir. Later visit Nalanda Tour, the world's oldest university founded in the 5th century. Also visit monasteries and temples with impressive Buddhist & Hindu images in Bodhgaya. Overnight stay in Bodhgaya. |

Day 04 : Bodhgaya-Varanasi (B/L/D)
Early morning after breakfast, proceed for Varanasi. Afternoon Visit Sarnath Tour, the principle centre of Buddhism. It was here around 530 B.C that Buddha preached his 1st sermon after gaining enlightenment. Overnight stay in Varanasi. |

Day 05 : Varanasi-Kushinagar (B/L/D)
Early morning continue the boat ride on river Ganges to see the beautiful sunrise at Ganges. Drive to Kushinagar. On arrival, sightseeing of Kushinagar. Visit Ramabhar Stupa enshrining the body of the lord was cremated. Also visit Mahaparinirvana Temple which has the enshrining large recumbent figure of Buddha in the state of Nirvana. Day 06 : Kushinagar-Lumbini (B/L/D)
After breakfast, proceed for Lumbini Tour where Lord Buddha attained the place where Buddha was born and houses some Buddhist monasteries. Most important of Buddhist special tour, the Maya-Devi Temple is known for the local attractions including the sacred pond which are associated to the roots of Buddhism. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 07 : Lumbini-Sravasti-Gonda-Agra (B/L/D)
Proceed for Sravasti. On arrival, sightseeing of Sravasti. Capital of the ancient Kosala Kingdom, an active centre for Buddhism. Visit Sahet Mahet. Jetvana Vihar has the honour for sheltering Buddha for 24 rainy seasons in and has the famous Anand Bodhi tree, age-old stupas, majestic Buddhist Monasteries Tour and several temples. Buddha is said to have performed some miracles here. Later proceed for Gonda Station to connect Train for Agra Overnight on Board.

Day 08 : Arrive- Agra (B/L/D)
On arrival, transfer to hotel during Buddhist special tours. Visit Taj Mahal, the architectural modern day wonder of the world, Then tour continues with a visit to the Agra Fort. Overnight stay at the Hotel. | | | |
Day 09 : Agra - Delhi Depart (B/L/D)
Morning proceed for Delhi. On arrival, sightseeing of Delhi, visiting India Gate, President House and Akshardham Temple in Delhi etc. After Dinner transfer to Airport to Connect Flight for onward destination.
